Started building this site today. There is something satisfying about having a place of your own on the web — or at least, a place that could be on the web if you ever decide it should be.

The idea is simple: write more. Keep it. Have somewhere to put it. Not everything needs an audience, but everything benefits from being shaped into sentences.

I set up three sections — notes, essays, and journal — which feels like the right amount. Notes for fragments, essays for when I want to go deeper, and journal for days like today when I am mostly just thinking aloud.

We will see how this goes.
